Welcome to CAMHS

Are you feeling angry, worried or upset?

We all get worried or angry about things that happen to us and this is very normal. But if there is something that makes you feel like this a lot of the time then you might need some extra help.

The best thing to do is speak to someone you trust. This might be your mum, dad or teacher. They will be able to find the right person to help you.

If you want to speak to someone right now then you can phone Childline for help on 0800 1111. It is free and confidential (no one will find out you have called).

Here are some top tips for dealing with our feelings.

Don't be afraid to talk about it. If the person you tell is not listening then tell someone else who can help.

Keep a diary of feelings. Writing down how you feel might get it off your chest and help you feel better.

Go for a walk or bike ride. Exercising often makes us feel better and changes our mood.

Try to do something you enjoy like see a friend, play football or make something

Listening to your favourite music might take your mind off your worries and will help you to relax.

Tell a grown up so they can help stop it. Otherwise it will happen again and you might get hurt.
